WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT?

Join us Friday, November 14th starting at the Queen Street Playhouse for our interactive fundraiser adventure, Around the World in 80 Minutes. Think the Amazing Race meets Charleston charm in a scavenger hunt game throughout the French Quarter neighborhood surrounding the theatre in downtown Charleston.

Check-in at the Queen Street Playhouse, where you will be greeted with a glass of prosecco as you enter the theatre to get your assignment, passport and directions to your first ‘station’.

There will be 10 ‘stations' spread throughout the French Quarter neighborhood surrounding the theatre. Stations will include local businesses, neighbors’ homes and local landmarks. Pre-assigned teams of 10-12 will explore the area, each led by a FLP actor guide, in search of each station. At each station, the team selects a member to play a quick game or answer a clue to get their passport stamped and move on to the next locale.

Five stations will each feature a small bite and drink inspired by a European country, with an actor serving as the clue giver. After this 80-minute adventure, all teams will return to home base, the French-themed Queen Street Playhouse, for a special Moulin Rouge-inspired performance, a raffle with impressive prizes, and a celebration of everything Footlight!
